Philip DeVries is the broker for Michigan Outdoor Properties. Phil has over a decade of real estate experience in Michigan. Grand Rapids has been his home since 1980 when his family moved back to their hometown. After graduating from Grand Valley State University in the spring of 1992 with a degree in Business Administration, Phil decided to leave the family business to start a career in Real Estate. With a strong back ground in the building trades he felt that it would be a great fit with his outgoing personality and his ability to gain trust from clients. Combine this with his love for the outdoors and you can see why selling recreational property in Michigan has truly become his passion.

Phil is an accomplished hunter and fisherman. He has hunted brown bear in Alaska, elk in Colorado, mule deer in New Mexico, pheasant hunted with his lab and extensive white tail hunting in his home state of Michigan with both a bow and rifle. His greatest love is fishing, as a licensed fly-fishing guide; Phil helps out his brother Dave, a full time guide, when he has large groups that want to fish together. Michigan rivers team with salmon and steelhead in the fall and spring, and on any given day, when the fish are running, you will find Phil just as likely fishing the river as working in his office. Joining the Cabela's team has been a natural fit for Phil and his team.
